| Elio Trapani Creative D.O.B. 25-06-86 Place of birth Portsmouth About Me I am an extremely passionate ‘creative designer’ with previous experience in: graphic design, photography, creative advertising and copywriting. My core strength lies within graphic design but I like to think of myself as an ‘ideas man’ having previously worked on several advertising briefs. I try to think outside of the box and I look to a variety of different sources for inspiration including: Saul Bass, Paul Arden, Philippe Starck and Takashi Murakami. I enjoy expressing my creativity on challenging briefs, and I believe that people can put their trust in me to produce an original solution to a problem. Having spent three years on the outskirts of London at University, I am currently based on the South Coast of England, in the seaside town of Southsea. In my spare time I enjoy experimenting with photography, both with film and digitally, and exploring my surroundings either on my fixed gear bike or in my camper van. M&C Saatchi, 09: Advertising Creative Worked in a creative team on a three week placement at M&C Saatchi. Working on live briefs for The Daily Mail, Fosters, HP Sauce and Natwest. A fantastic experience working with such big clients. Wieden + Kennedy, 08: Advertising Creative A part of a creative team of five who worked on a brief set by Wieden + Kennedy. My roles on the brief included, art director, copywriter and creative. Winchester Army Training Regiment, 08-10: Freelance Graphic Designer Enlisted by the Winchester Army Training Regiment to design and create their bi-annual magazine - The Aim PaperCo, 08: Graphic Designer Worked closely with the country’s leading paper merchant in response to a brief for the PaperCo design awards. My work for PaperCo was selected as an award winner. Snows Motor Group, Marketing Department, 06: Graphic Designer Worked in the group’s marketing department as a designer for their in-house artwork, in addition to helping the marketing team on promotion days and acting as a consultant on the design of their group web site.
